Katie received her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law in 2004 and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar the same year. While in law school she coordinated a student-staffed legal clinic at a local women’s shelter, and from 2004 through 2008 she practiced in Boston as a public defender and a civil legal aid attorney. Katie is a Virginia native and received a degree in Psychology from the College of William and Mary.
She moved to Boulder with her husband in August 2008 with the intention of having a short adventure away from the East coast. After becoming smitten with the charms of Boulder, she decided to put down roots. She was admitted to the Colorado Bar in September 2009. Katie is enjoying the challenges of complex civil litigation.
