Construction Management Construction Management

A construction manager can have various duties to the owner, the general contractor and the architect. Thus, construction managers can be caught between an owner’s desire to get a project built and the daily on-site decisions which affect the builders’ work. Understanding the construction manager’s obligations to each party -- and the limits of those obligations under the construction documents -- can be a challenge. Our knowledge in this area, coupled with our experience prosecuting claims from all perspectives of a project, allows us to counsel clients in both transactions and disputes involving construction management issues.
